Hadleigh Roberts is a graduate of Modern Languages and European Studies (French and Spanish) from the University of Bath, UK where he is now a Postgraduate Student of MA Interpreting & Translating.
Though a languages professional he is also involved in politics across Europe. In France, he worked for the Socialist Party and the Regional Government (Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur). In Spain, he studied in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) and volunteered for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE). In the UK, he stood for election in May 2011 where he is Vice Chair of Bath Labour Party and was formerly President of the University of Bath Labour Society.
He has participated in a number of international conferences, including a meeting of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament in which he was invited to present a speech on Euroscepticism and Social Democracy.
